Chef Taylor, bringing the 'taylored' touch to every event with soul food and passion.

Taylor always had a love for food and cooking! From as early as eight years old, she expressed wanting to be a chef. She soon transitioned cooking-themed birthday parties into action by preparing her first meals.

Taylor began competing in barbecue contests with her grandfather over the summers by age nine. She experimented with different spices and seasonings as she strived to achieve the best taste for her entries. Her work did not go unnoticed as she became the reigning ‘Kids’ Que’ grand champion at every contest she entered; this became a new standard summer after summer.

Taylor joined ProStart at Grandview High School, allowing students an authentic firsthand account of culinary arts and the hospitality industry. She learned technical applications, gained hands-on experience, and competed in cooking competitions sponsored by the National Restaurant Association.

As an adult, Taylor is taking her raw talent and skills to the next level with the Taylored Experience. While continuing her culinary education, she is ready to grow her brand and introduce the world to unique flavor profiles, new dining concepts, and TAYLORED menus that incorporate soul food and her unique flair into just about any food genre.
